ORGAN PRELUDE
WELCOME and CALL to WORSHIP
(Based on verses from Psalm 50)
The Almighty God, the LORD, speaks; he calls the whole earth from east to west.
God shines from Zion, the city perfect in its beauty.
Our God is coming, but not in silence; a raging fire is in front of him, a furious storm is around him.
He calls heaven and earth as witnesses to see him judge his people.
He says, “Gather my faithful people to me, those who made a covenant with me.
Let them give thanks and honour me, for I will surely save all who obey me.”

PRAYER of APPROACH
In the name of the Father; in the name of the Son; in the name of the Holy Spirit, Three in One:
God, make us holy, Christ, make us holy, Spirit, make us holy, Three, all-holy.
Count us not as nothing, O God; count us not as nothing, O Christ, count us not as nothing, O kind Spirit, nor abandon us to eternal loss.
We confess our sins to you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Compassionate God of life, your kindly pardon give: for our careless talk, our broken oath, our empty speech; for all that we have left undone; for all that we have done amiss.
ASSURANCE of FORGIVENESS
Jesus, only begotten Son of God the Father, you gave the blood of your body to save us from the grave; as we receive the word and knowledge of your forgiveness, shield us, encircle us, each day, each night, each dark, each light. Uphold us, be our treasure, our triumph everlasting; strong Son of God most high. Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.
