WELCOME and CALL to WORSHIP

The heavens declare the glory of God,
and the sky proclaims its maker’s handiwork.
One day tells it to another,
and one night imparts knowledge to another.
Through the witness of creation,
through the glory of the Word,
you show the way to the kingdom of light,
you show the way to eternal life.
Although they have no words or language,
and their voices are not heard,
their sound has gone out into all lands,
and their message to the ends of the world,
where God has pitched a tent for the sun.
Through the witness of creation,

Let the words of our mouths and the meditation
of our hearts be acceptable in your sight, O

Gracious, loving, counselling, forgiving God, we
come into your presence … let us hear a fresh

of your love, that all who hear it may turn to
